Woodland-Inspired Gender Reveal Cake
I absolutely loved working on this cake--it is so helpful to me when clients know what they want, but also leave room for me to he design something special for them! The mom-to-be knew she wanted a woodland theme, with fresh fruit and Marigolds (the October birth flower, for when she was due) and one layer of cake colored either pink of blue! For the exterior of the cake, we ended up using a sweet little buck, doe, and fawn family and had them surrounded by bright orange marigolds, raspberries & blueberries, with a dark chocolate drip and chocolate chip buttercream. It was a pleasure making something so festive and I can't believe their baby GIRL is almost a year old now!
